1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the ReachOut application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services. LSSys reserves the right to update these terms at any time, with notice provided through the app.
2. Description of Service
ReachOut is a peer-to-peer task marketplace that connects individuals ("Requesters") who need local assistance with individuals ("Helpers") willing to provide such assistance for compensation. ReachOut facilitates the connection and payment process but is not a party to any agreement between Requesters and Helpers.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use ReachOut. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
4. Open Platform Policy
ReachOut operates as an open platform — no KYC verification is required to begin using the service. However, all users are subject to our community standards, two-way rating system, and behavioral monitoring. Users who violate our guidelines may be suspended or permanently banned.
5. Task Rules
Tasks must be legal, ethical, and within the permitted categories listed on the platform. Prohibited tasks include anything illegal, dangerous, requiring professional licensing (medical, legal, etc.), or sexually explicit. ReachOut reserves the right to remove any task that violates these rules without notice.
6. Payments & Escrow
Task payments are processed through Razorpay and held in escrow until task completion is confirmed. By posting a task, you authorize ReachOut to hold the task amount until confirmation. Platform fees (where applicable) are deducted before payout to Helpers. All payments are final once confirmed.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between Requesters and Helpers should first be attempted to be resolved between the parties. If unresolved, either party may escalate to ReachOut support within 24 hours of task completion. ReachOut's decision on disputes is final. Frivolous disputes may result in account restrictions.
8. Limitation of Liability
ReachOut is a marketplace and does not employ Helpers or control task execution. ReachOut is not liable for: (a) the quality of work performed by Helpers; (b) physical injury or property damage during tasks; (c) disputes between users; or (d) any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount of the disputed transaction.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using ReachOut, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
ReachOut may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, any pending task payments will be held for 30 days pending dispute resolution.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
